First of all, welcome to the new blog section of the site! I hope you like the new feature and won’t get too bored with the updates I’ll be posting from now on.
So, what is happening? For a start, let me tell you that this crazy number is happening. What I mean: Right now we’re in the middle of the 42nd week of 2013, 42 comic strips have been posted on the site so far, and the emergency surgeon I just had to visit works in a house with the number 42. Some would call it a silly accident, others would call it fate. What do I call it? A fateful coincidence? But in case you’re wondering what happened: I accidentally cut through a tendon in my right index finger today. The doc said I had to wear a splint for about six weeks – hey, that’s 42 days! But it’s gonna heal. Unfortunately, it also forces me into artistic hiatus for about that amount of time.
Don’t fret though – I will make good use of my timeout and think about the development of the comic’s story, new sheep, the bigger picture and all. Clear my head, catch some fresh air strolling through the beautiful fall scenery, get some overdue paperwork done. It’s not all bad.
Anyway, I’ll continue to blog from now on to keep you updated on what I’m up to and what my Greater Index Finger of Artistic Impairment +2 has to say about that every now and then. I’d be happy to see you keep faith with me, because time moves fast and I won’t be out of action for too long. ^^
